Dr. Manish Kumar's Lab × GivePower
Dr. Manish Kumar is a Professor of Environmental Engineering at UT Austin and an NSF CAREER awardee whose research focuses on desalination membranes and water purification. He has already taken 9 UT undergrads and 1 graduate student to Kenya with GivePower — where the team installed a solar computer lab and conducted field research on decentralized water systems.
Through this partnership, UT GivePower members get access to real research on the science behind Solar Water Farms — and the chance to join future field deployments.
